I "Caught" One, Too!

Seeing Jon's dragonfly photo reminded me that I had one in my camera. Not an especially good one, but it was very much point and shoot. It landed on George's fishing pole, which speaks of the amount of fish action taking place. He surprised me the other day by saying, "I've decided that I don't like fishing." Me, "Really?!!!!" George, "Yeah, I don't really like fishing. I just like catching." And RV park ponds just don't do it for catching, unless you're happy with an occasional puny perch.

Yes, it is a great photo! I laughed when I heard what Dad said. I feel much the same. I do enjoy being out in nature, but when I go fishing, I want to catch something!

I hope that JJ can take us all fishing this summer. Aidan went with him once last summer and had the greatest time.

I DO like fishing, though catching is a nice bonus. :-)

This week I used my fly rod exclusively, even though they were hitting on rapalas. I just enjoy the casting and the placement and the attempting to think like a fish. So I guess that makes me someone who really does like fishing.
