My Hero

Here's the grinding man after work yesterday. It was 106 degrees outside and he had been working inside a metal building, near the top, with no fans. I had to peel his soaking wet shirt off. He said he had to take his belt in two notches from all the water weight loss. Seems it sweated out as fast as he drank it in!

Taking the Proposal up the second flight of stairs. That's where the rails are....way up high!

Putting the finishing touches on the 90 degree grinding head he designed and made. It is an improvement on what he had been using, easier to use and more cost effective than the old way.

Wow, that sounds horribly hot. You were in our prayers Dad. Glad to hear you're safe.

Love you!

I hope I can even attempt something like that when I'm your age, Dad! Glad you're safely done.

Thanks for the prayers, but don't stop! He's at the mill now and has another weekend of work coming up. This is only the second overhead Maxi Mill he's ever done, the other one several years ago in Eugene. Hopefully there won't be many more.
