Fast Forward...5 1/2 Months!

OK, that was quite a break I took. Yikes. How time flies. So, my plan is to start where we are and then go back and fill in. As I write this we are in NE Wisconsin, temporarily residing in the Menominee Nation while George works at the tribal sawmill. We arrived here on the 4th of July (after spending a few days with Jon, Jen and those intriguing grands; more on that later). It's a scenic place here on the reservation, lots of trees and the Wolf River providing some photo ops for me.

I enjoy seeing these flowers along the roads and such.

On Sunday, the 5th, we took a little side trip and drove down to Green Bay, about 30 miles, and got a closeup peek at Lambeau Field. Elle had to stay in the truck so we couldn't be gone long but it was fun to see it. Wow, it IS impressive!

A glimpse of Green Bay
And then the drive back through the land of TRULY happy cows, not those poor California creatures that have to endure the mega dairies of Central California with not a blade of grass in sight. The Wisconsin Dairy Council needs to do something about those commercials that portray their industry in such a bad light!

For now, blessings to all and I will continue as possible.
