We both did a double take on seeing camels on the range as we were driving along. I wonder if a rancher got bored with cattle. Anyway, we enjoyed the opportunity to 'visit' with these odd beasts up close. They were quite friendly and even Elle seemed to think they were ok.
I wasn't willing to be quite this friendly! Again, it's a small world; this lady is from Prineville, Oregon and we chatted with her awhile.

That is so cool. The kids got a big kick out of it, especially Elle kissing the camel. Wish we were there.
