Time to Leave Again... Going East

We arrived home from visiting Mom on Friday and left home the following Tuesday, June 4th, but not before a family "farewell" picnic in Avery Park, celebrating Father's Day a little early.

I just noticed that the Dad's all look a bit "scowly" in these pictures.
Not an indication of the mood of the evening, just intent on eating, I guess.

Crumb pie for Grampy, made by Aidan!

Those wonderful Montana mountains....
When enlarged, this photo makes me feel like I am on a flat earth that has tilted and I am about to slide off. It's not easy to get everything lined up going down the road at 60 MPH, shooting out the open side window, camera strap flapping against my face in the wind : )

Rest stop walk. Yes, Paulee, I'm coming.

Nice little uphill walk and worth the effort for the views available.

Goodnight, Montana
North Dakota,
all decked out in springtime green, blue, and white.
Pardon the unfortunate bug on the windshield.
Can you guess where we are?
Lady seemed happy to see us and made herself at home on the dash :)
More from the St. Paul stop in the next post.
